Hourly, as-directed

Hourly chauffeur service in Austin

Keep the car and the chauffeur for as long as you need them. Multiple stops, changing plans and waiting time are part of the booking, not extras to negotiate each time.

How hourly service works.

An hourly booking, sometimes called "as-directed" service, reserves one vehicle and one chauffeur for a block of time. The chauffeur drives where you direct, waits while you are inside, and is back at the curb when you are ready. You are not booking separate trips; you are booking time.

That makes it the better fit when your day has several stops, when you do not know exactly when a meeting will end, or when you want a driver on hand all evening rather than a ride that has to be rebooked at each venue.

Hourly or point-to-point?

If you have one pickup and one destination, a black car transfer is simpler and usually the better value. Three stops or more, or any day with waiting built in, tends to be cleaner as an hourly booking.

Planning tips.

01

List every stop up front

Addresses and rough times let the chauffeur plan parking and routes. You can still change the order.

02

Build in margin

Austin traffic shifts by the hour. A 15-minute cushion between stops costs less than a missed meeting.

03

Name a contact on the ground

If someone other than the booker will be riding, give us their mobile number.

04

Say what matters most

If one stop has a hard deadline, tell us; everything else can flex around it.

Can I add stops during the trip?

Yes; that is the point of an hourly booking. Large changes of area may affect timing.

Is waiting time included?

In an hourly booking the clock is running while the chauffeur waits, because the car is held for you.

How many people can ride?

It depends on the vehicle; see the fleet or tell us your group size.

Tell us about the day.

Send the stops and times; we will confirm availability and a quote.
