The 2026 race weekend.
The 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is scheduled for October 23–25 at Circuit of the Americas, with an added preview day on Thursday, October 22 reported by the organizers.
COTA sits southeast of downtown Austin, roughly 15 miles by road and a little closer to the airport. There is no quick alternative route in or out. The area around the circuit is rural, and race-day crowds are funneled onto a small number of roads, mainly via SH 130 and the Elroy Road area.
How to plan a race day with a chauffeur.
Book hourly, not one-way
A one-way drop-off leaves you competing for a ride in the busiest hour of the day. An hourly booking keeps the car and chauffeur assigned to your group all day.
Decide the pickup point in advance
Where the vehicle can stage depends on the year's access rules. Agree the meeting point and a backup before you leave the hotel.
Arrive early
Inbound traffic builds long before the main event. Earlier arrival is more comfortable than a tight one, and gives the chauffeur room to adjust.
Plan the exit
The slowest part of the day is the first hour after the last session, and after any evening concert. Many groups stay on site, eat, or take in the music while the roads clear, then leave.
